SEMI-PERMANENT TATTOO REMOVAL

Semi permanent tattoos are used for eyebrow design and to resemble makeup such as eyeliner and lipliner. Q-Switched Lasers are considered to be the most effective, safe and reliable way to remove/reduce unwanted cosmetic ink with consistent results.

How does the treatment work?

The very short pulse of high powered laser light is absorbed by the ink particles, breaking them down into smaller pieces that the body can disperse naturally.

What does the treatment feel like?

Mild discomfort may be experienced during treatment and the area can feel quite hot.

Am I suitable for treatment?

Any semi-permanent tattoos can be treated with the exception of eyeliner as it is too close to the eye.

Is there any down time?

The area may appear red and feel tender up to 48 hours post treatment and some tattoos can form a graze which must be left to heal naturally.

How many treatments will I need?

Typically 4 to 8 treatments are required 6 to 10 weeks apart to achieve the desired results. This depends on several factors including the age, colour density of the inks.

What skin types can be treated?

All skin types are suitable however extreme caution must be taken with skin type VI as this can mark easily during the course of treatment.
